Summary:
Katniss Everden is a young teenage girl living in a poor district, separated from her father in a mining disaster and struggling financially and family wise her sister young 12 year old Prim-Rose are closer than ever and wouldn't dare spend a second apart. The Hunger Games ruins that "perfect" life. Every year 2 innocent people from each of the 12 districts are selected (1 girl and 1 boy) and when Prim-Rose is selected Katniss has no choice but to volunteer on be-half of her sister. She fights for her life in a tremendous battle and finds love, her feet and friends along the way but she can't get the fact that dying is a real possibly out of her head. (So amazing it was turned into a film!)
